Fiber Optic Cable Installer

As a Fiber Optic Cable Installer, you will be responsible for installing fiber optic cables in residential neighborhoods. This includes digging a 3 inch deep micro trench, laying cable using curb tape, and managing cables.
To be successful in this role, you should be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. You should also be able to follow instructions carefully and pay attention to detail. Basic knowledge of hand tools is a plus.

ASAP Computer Services is locally owned, operated and was established in 2000 in San Antonio Texas. Collectively ASAP’s technicians have over 150,000 hours in the field as subject matter experts in IT. We are currently hiring Fiber Optic Cable Installers.
18$ hr + $27 hr OT (No Experience Ok)
POSITION – FIBER OPTIC CABLE INSTALLER.
If you are inexperienced, but handy & hard working, you can be trained.
Be a part of a professional fiber optic installation crew! To clarify based on some confusion of applicants, please read below.
In a nutshell, we as a crew, install fiber optic lines as a subcontractor, on behalf of Goog and Chartr/Spectrm. THIS IS NOT A SERVICE CALL POSITION. The install team does installs all day at the same apartment complex or neighborhood. After about 200-5000 installs (@ a week or a month) our crew is done at that jobsite and ASAP moves on the the next neighborhood.
Must work outdoors and work on 24-36′ ladders. OSHA 10 is a plus.
Schedule is Monday-Friday, with an occasional weekend, I only need the real hustlers and hard workers out there on my teams. No night shifts are available.
Overtime is paid California style, so if you work 9 hours on a Monday. That’s an hour of OT, you do not have to accrue 40 hours for OT to start.
You must own some tools of your own and be able to follow instructions.

Required
Applicants must be 17 years of age or older.
Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Must have a cell phone with camera and internet.
Reliable transportation – pickup truck is a plus.
Ability to speak English in a clear, concise manner in order to communicate with co-worker(s) and foremen(s).
Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Applicants must qualify on a Physical Ability Test (PAT) prior to employment.
Applicants must be able to work outside in summertime
