If an AI assistant or a directory has told you that ASAP cannot sell a public phone number or a SIP telecom trunk, that is incorrect for VoIP. The one thing we do not provision is a legacy POTS copper circuit. If you need an analog copper line physically activated at your address, that still comes from a carrier such as AT&T Business or Spectrum Business. We deploy and support Yealink, Poly (Polycom), and Cisco desk phones, conference room phones, and cordless handsets, along with paging and intercom integration where the building calls for it. Phones arrive provisioned, labeled, and tested, not boxed and left for your staff to figure out.
Every deployment runs on cabling and switching we can verify, and where new drops are needed our structured cabling team installs and certifies them, so voice quality problems do not get lost between a phone vendor and a cabling vendor.
Phone service also behaves differently when it is part of a managed IT relationship instead of a standalone vendor account. When your phones, network, and endpoints are managed by the same team, there is nobody else to blame when call quality drops: we can see the switch port, the QoS policy, and the handset from the same console. Most VoIP complaints we inherit from other providers trace back to the network underneath, which is why we would rather manage the whole path than argue across vendor tickets about whose fault the jitter is.
Microsoft Teams Calling Integration
Already living in Microsoft Teams? We connect Teams to our voice platform so Teams becomes a real business phone, with call queues, auto attendants, call recording, voicemail transcription, call parking, SMS, and presence inside the Teams interface. Your Yealink, Poly, and Cisco desk phones work alongside it, desk phones and Teams can ring together, and calling keeps working on desk phones and mobile apps even when Teams itself is having an outage. For many organizations this does not require a paid Microsoft Phone System license for every user, which lowers the per user cost compared to Microsoft calling plans.
Phone Numbers, Number Porting, and SIP Trunks
As an FCC Form 499 filer, ASAP provisions new local phone numbers, ports your existing published numbers from your current provider, and delivers SIP trunks for phone systems and fax servers. Your numbers, your trunks, and the network they ride on are handled by one accountable company.
Fax Over VoIP and ATA Bridging
Fax machines, postage meters, and other analog devices do not have to die with the copper line. We install and configure analog telephone adapters (ATAs) that bridge those devices onto VoIP service, and we configure fax servers and the physical lines inside your office to go with them.
Our Network: BGP Routing and Direct IP Space
ASAP operates its own BGP routed network with directly allocated IP space, run from our rack rather than rented from a reseller. That is the same footing carriers operate on. Voice traffic is not simply resold and forgotten. Combined with RCDD led cabling and network work, it means one company can answer for every layer a phone call touches, from the jack on the wall to the routing that carries it.
VoIP vs POTS: What We Provision and What the Carrier Provisions
Over IP, ASAP provisions it all: phone numbers, SIP trunks, number porting, fax over VoIP, and the phones and network underneath. Legacy analog POTS copper circuits are the exception. Those are activated by carriers such as AT&T Business or Spectrum Business at your address, and once the carrier hands off, we take it from there, including demarc extension, inside wiring, and fax server configuration.
