Single Mode and Multimode Fiber Installation

Multimode OM3, OM4, and OM5 for in building backbone and short runs between switches. Single mode OS2 for long runs, campus links, and anything that may need more distance or bandwidth later. We spec the fiber count and type against what you actually need in five years, not just what closes the ticket today.

Indoor plenum and riser rated cable, outdoor armored and gel filled, direct burial, and innerduct placement are all in scope.

Fusion Splicing and Termination

Fusion splicing produces lower loss and better long term stability than mechanical splices, and it is what we use for permanent work. Pigtail splicing into LC, SC, and ST connectors, splice tray and enclosure work, cassette and MPO trunk terminations, and repair splices on damaged or cut runs.

If a company put a backhoe through your fiber, that is a same category call. We locate the break, splice it, and test the repaired run end to end.

Building to Building and Campus Backbone

Connecting two or more buildings on one property is the most common fiber request we get. Options include underground conduit with pull boxes, direct burial armored cable, or aerial between existing structures where the path allows it.

We handle the pathway, the placement, the entrance protection, and the termination on both ends so there is a single point of responsibility for the whole link.

Carrier Demarc Extension

Carriers deliver fiber to the demarc and stop there. Getting that circuit from the demarc room to your MDF or IDF is the customer’s responsibility, and it is a job that stalls a lot of new circuits.

We extend the handoff to your equipment, terminate it properly, and test it so the carrier cannot point at the inside cable when something goes wrong.

OTDR Testing and Fiber Certification

Every run we install gets tested. Light loss testing on both wavelengths, OTDR traces to locate and document any events along the run, and connector end face inspection before mating.

You get the test results as documentation. That matters for warranty claims, for handing off to an incoming IT provider, and for proving the physical layer is clean when you are troubleshooting something further up the stack.

Fiber Repair and Emergency Response

Cut fiber, damaged pigtails, failed connectors, water in a hand hole, or a link that passes on paper but keeps flapping. We locate the fault, repair it, and test the corrected run rather than guessing at it.

Do you install fiber internet service?

No. We are an It company stat has a unique specialization in layer 1 cabling, not an internet provider. Our employees install the fiber inside and between your buildings, and we extend your carrier’s circuit from the demarc to your equipment.

Should I use single mode or multimode fiber?

Multimode is generally cheaper on optics and fine for runs inside a building. Single mode costs more up front but supports far greater distance and bandwidth. For anything crossing between buildings or anything you expect to keep for a decade, single mode is usually the better long term call.

Can you run fiber between two buildings on my property?

Yes. Underground conduit, direct burial, or aerial depending on the path and the surface between the buildings. We handle the pathway, the cable, and the terminations on both ends.

Do you provide test results after installation?

Yes. Light loss testing and OTDR traces are documented and provided at project close, along with labeling and as built documentation.
